On Sunday, December 18th 2016, Estamos Unidos de Pennsylvania celebrated its 15th Annual Fiesta Del Nino Children's Christmas Party at John Harris High School. The fiesta opened its doors to over 600 children and their families, for a combined total of 1,100 children and adults.
Attendees were offered a wrapped gift, warm meal, healthy snacks, health promotion material, health screenings, live book reading on stage by Superreader Mrs. LaShana Stokes, and an afternoon filled with various live entertainment by Elsa, Los Monstros, Flute Soloist, dance performances, Church Choir, Mariachis, ROTC, and so many festivities and entertainment, including Santa's visit. All this made possible by the generous support and donations of many local businesses and the 150 dedicated non-paid volunteers who worked diligently to make this event extra special for these children. For many of the children, this will be the only gift they will receive for Christmas.
On behalf of Estamos Unidos, the board and the Children Christmas party 2016 committee... Thank YOU to everyone who made this event possible!
